Welcome to the Official Website of Grant Philipo's Las Vegas Showgirl Museum
Featuring rare treasures from Las Vegas' most famous spectaculars, and other world famous productions.
Grant Philipo's Las Vegas Showgirl Museum houses actual wardrobe pieces, sets and props, costume designs, film footage, historical documents, and photos, paying homage to the glamour and beauty of Las Vegas entertainment, as well as show business history from other parts of the world.
Upon entering the lobby, guests are greeted by images of one of Las Vegas’ most famous spectaculars, Donn Arden's “Lido de Paris.” Two topless showgirl mannequins are lowered out of the ceiling, dressed in authentic “Lido” wardrobe, jewelry, wigs and hairpieces used in the productions’ famed opening.
Once inside the museum, spectators encounter a well-designed “safe,” housing much more than just showgirl wardrobe. The museum highlights all the aspects involved in making Las Vegas the iconic Entertainment Capital of the World. This museum, honoring the world's entertainment history, starts from its beginnings in Paris, moves to the present time, and looks into its future.
The collections housed in the museum takes visitors back to where it all started, in Paris. It gives a glimpse of all aspects, including live re-enactments of some of Las Vegas' most famous production numbers, headliners and specialty acts, from Hallelujah Hollywood, Splash, Enter the Night, Jubilee!, Les Folies Bergere, 90 Degrees and Rising, Melinda, The First Lady of Magic, Ann-Margaret Show, Lynda Carter Show, and Liberace Show, in addition to famous movies and revues from around the world.
